நிசும்பசூதனி என்றால்
என்ன?
சோழர் குல வம்சத்துக்கும்,
நிசும்பசூதனி,
தெய்வத்திற்கும்,
என்ன தொடர்பு,
நிசும்பசூதனி
கோவில் இன்றும் உள்ளதா, என்ற கேள்விக்கு விடை அளிக்கும்
கட்டுரையே இது.

தமிழகத்தில்,
ஆண்ட பேரரசுகள் என்றால்,
நம் நினைவுக்கு
வருவது, சேர சோழ பாண்டியர்கள் தான்.
அதிலும் கோவில்கள், கட்டிட
கலை என்றால், சோழர்கள் தான் முதலில் இருக்கின்றனர் என்கிறது வரலாறுகள்.
அந்த அளவிற்கு கோவில் கட்டிட கலையில் கொடி கட்டி பறந்தவர்கள்
சோழபேரரசுகள்.
அத்துடன், வீரத்திலும், கடல் கடந்து சென்று ஆட்சி
பிடிப்பதில்,வல்லமை பெற்றவர்கள், சோழ பேரரசர்கள்.
சோழர் குலத்தை பொறுத்தவரை தஞ்சையில் கால் பதித்தது, விஜயாலய சோழனே.
விஜயாலய சோழன், ராஜராஜன், ராஜேந்திர சோழன், போன்றோரின் வீர தீர செயல்களின் வெற்றிக்கு ஒரு சக்தி மிக்க தெய்வம் இருந்திருக்கிறது என்றால் அது நம்ப முடிகிறதா.

வெற்றியை குறிக்கும்

தஞ்சையை ஆண்ட
மன்னரை வீழ்த்தி தஞ்சையில்
சோழர்களின் வெற்றியை
நாட்டினார்.
இந்த வெற்றிக்கு நினைவு சின்னமாக அமைந்ததே
நிசூம்பசூதனி
ஆகும்.
நிசூம்பசூதனியை
மகா சரஸ்வதி எழில்
வடிவினாள், வெண்பனியில்
மணச்சிகரத்தில் கருணை
சிகரமாக அமர்ந்தாள், என்றும்
சிம்மத்தின் மீது அமைதியாக
அமர்ந்து, அம்பு, உலக்கை,
சூலம், சக்கரம், சங்கு, மணி,
கலப்பை, வில், ஏந்தி சந்திர ஒளியில் பிரகாசித்திருப்பார்.
இவர் அமைதி கோலம் பூண்டவர் என்று ஒரு
பாடல்
வர்ணிக்கிறது.

வெற்றி தெய்வம் என்றும், போருக்கு
செல்லும் போது எல்லாம், சோழ அரசர்கள்
காப்பாய் தேவி என்று
நிசூம்பசூதனியை வணங்கி விட்டு தான், யுத்த களத்திற்ரு செல்வார்களாம்,
சோழ அரசர்கள்,
என்கிறது,
திருவாலங்காட்டு
செப்பேடு .
சோழ பேரரசர்கள்
