விமர்சனம் செய்பவர்கள் கூட வியந்து பார்க்கும் அளவிற்கு அழகான பெருவுடையார் திருக்கோயிலை ஆயிரம் ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பே நமக்காக நம் பாட்டன் ராசராசன் தஞ்சாவூரில் கட்டி வைத்துள்ளார். அதன் சிறப்புகளை அளவில் அடக்கமுடியாது. பல்வேறு பெருமைகளை தன்னகத்தே கொண்டு தமிழர்களை தரணி எங்கும் தலை நிமிரச் செய்யும் பெரிய கோயிலில் சித்திரைத் திருவிழா கடந்த மாதம் மார்ச் 30 ஆம் தேதி கொடியேற்றத்துடன் தொடங்கியது.
பெரியகோயிலின் சித்திரைத் திருவிழாவானது 18 நாட்கள் நடைபெற்று 18வது நாள் ராஜ வீதிகளில் தேர் வீதி உலா வந்தவுடன் இனிதே நிறைவடையும். ஆனால் கடந்த இரண்டு ஆண்டுகளாக கொரோனா பெருந்தொற்றின் காரணமாக சித்திரைத் திருவிழா நிறுத்தி வைக்கப்பட்டிருந்தது. அதனைத் தொடர்ந்து இந்த ஆண்டு 18 நாள் திருவிழாவின் இறுதி நாளான இன்று திருத்தேர் ராஜ வீதிகளில் வலம் வந்தது. தேரோட்டத்தை துவக்கி வைக்கும் விதமாக இன்று காலை 630 மணி அளவில் தஞ்சை மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர் தினேஷ் பொன்ராஜ் ஆலிவர் அவர்கள் தேரினை வடம் பிடித்து இழுத்து துவக்கி வைத்தார்.
தேரின் முன் பெண்கள் முளைப்பாரி எடுத்து வந்தனர், பறை இசை ஒலிக்க, பல்லாயிரக்கணக்கான மக்களோடு தேர் ராஜ நடை போட்டு, ராஜ வீதிகளில் பவனி வந்தது. இத்தனை ஆண்டுகள் தேரோட்டம் நடந்திருந்தாலும் கூட தேரோட்டி வருவதே ராஜ வீதிகளின் ஆக்கிரமிப்பால் அவதியாக தான் இருந்தது. ஆனால் இந்த ஆண்டு
தஞ்சாவூர் மாநகராட்சி ஆணையர் சரவணகுமார் அவர்களின் சீரிய நடவடிக்கையால் ஆக்கிரமிப்புகள் அகற்றப்பட்டு இந்த ஆண்டு ராஜ வீதிகளை முழுமையாக கண்டு ராஜ வீதிகளில் திருத்தேர் பவனி வந்தது. தெருவெங்கிலும் மக்கள் நீர் மோர், குளிர்பானம் உள்ளிட்ட பொருட்களைக் கொடுத்து தேரோடு வரும் மக்களுக்கு ஊரின் பெருமையை சொல்லாமல் சொல்லிக் கொண்டிருந்தார்கள்.
காவல்துறையினர் மக்களுக்கு காவல் அரணாக இருந்து எந்தவித அசம்பாவிதங்களும் நடந்துவிடா வண்ணம் கடமையாற்றினார்கள். இந்தத் திருவிழாவிற்கு உலகமெங்கிலும் இருந்து தஞ்சாவூருக்கு ஒரு லட்சம் மக்கள் வருவார்கள் என்று எதிர்பார்க்கப்பட்டது. அதன் காரணமாக அனைத்து வேலைகளையும் மாவட்ட நிர்வாகமும், மாநகராட்சி நிர்வாகமும் இணைந்து திறம்பட செய்திருந்தார்கள்.
தமிழர்கள் நினைத்தால் கூட இனி ஒருமுறை இதுபோல கோவிலை கட்ட முடியாது இதை உணர்ந்தால் நமக்காக நம் பாட்டன் கட்டிய கோயிலை நம்மால் பார்க்கவும் ,காக்க முடியும்.
