கரூர் மாவட்டத்தில் அண்மையில் நடைபெற்ற தமிழ்நாடு அளவிலான குத்துச்சண்டை போட்டியில் தஞ்சாவூர் மாணவ, மாணவிகள் வெற்றி பெற்றுள்ளனர்.
இது குறித்து தஞ்சை மாவட்ட குத்துச்சண்டை பயிற்சி கழகம் கூறியிருப்பதாவது :
கரூரில் தமிழ்நாடு அளவிலான குத்துச்சண்டை போட்டி அண்மையில் நடைபெற்றது.
இதில் ஆண்கள், பெண்களுக்கான சீனியர்,ஜீனியர்க்கான நடைபெற்ற போட்டியில் 200-க்கும் அதிகமான மாணவ , மாணவிகள் கலந்துக் கொண்டனர். அதில் தஞ்சாவூர் மாவட்டத்தை சேர்ந்த மாணவ மாணவிகள் வெற்றி பெற்று வெள்ளி பதக்கங்கள், தங்கப்பதக்கங்கள் பெற்றுள்ளனர்.
அவர்களின் பட்டியல் கீழ்கண்டவாறு அ.ரேனுகா தங்க பதக்கம்,பா.தமிழ் அழகி வெள்ளி பதக்கம்,சி.பிரீத்தி வெள்ளி பதக்கம்,த.அனிதா வெள்ளி பதக்கம் வென்றார்கள்.
வெற்றி பெற்ற மாணவர்களான மு.ரிஃபாயின் கபூர் தங்க பதக்கம்,ப.சந்தோஷ் வெள்ளி பதக்கம்,வெ.சூர்யா வெண்கலம் பதக்கம்,வெ.ஜீவா வெண்கலம் பதக்கம்,ச.ஹரிஹரனன் வெண்கலம் பதக்கம்,இ.சஞ்சய் குமார் வெண்கலம் பதக்கம் வென்றார்கள்.
வெற்றி பெற்றவர்களை போக்குவரத்து காவல் ஆய்வாளர் ரவிச்சந்திரன் சான்றிதழ் கொடுத்து பாராட்டி, ஊக்கப்படுத்தினார். பயிற்சியாளர் கிருஷ் ரத்தன் தலைமையில் சென்று வென்று வந்த மாணவ, மாணவிகளுக்கும் இவர்களுக்கு திறம்பட பயிற்சி அளித்த குத்துச்சண்டை போட்டி பயிற்சி கழகத்திற்கும் மாநாடு இதழ் செய்தி குழுமத்தின் வாழ்த்துக்களும், பாராட்டுக்களும்.
