இந்தியாவில் இப்போது ரொக்கப் பரிவர்த்தனைகளை விட டிஜிட்டல் பரிவர்த்தனைகளை மக்கள் அதிகமாகப் பயன்படுத்துகின்றனர். இது எளிதாகவும் இருக்கிறது. அமர்ந்த இடத்தில் இருந்துகொண்டே யாருக்கு வேண்டுமானாலும் பணம் அனுப்பவும் பெறவும் முடியும். இதற்காகவே போன் பே, கூகுள் பே, பேடிஎம் போன்ற ஏகப்பட்ட மொபைல் ஆப்கள் வந்துவிட்டன.

இந்த ஆப்களில் பணம் அனுப்புவது போன்ற செயல்பாடுகளில் வாடிக்கையாளர்களை ஊக்குவிப்பதற்காக அவ்வப்போது கேஷ் பேக், ரிவார்டு, ஷாப்பிங் பாயிண்ட் போன்ற சலுகைகளும் வழங்கப்படுகின்றன. ஸ்கிராட்ச் கார்டு போன்ற ஆப்சனை நாம் சுரண்டினால் அதில் இதுபோன்ற சலுகைகள் நமக்குக் கிடைக்கும். இதில் ஆயிரக்கணக்கில் பரிசு வென்றவர்களும் உண்டு. சிலர் இதற்காகவே டிஜிட்டல் பரிவர்த்தனை மொபைல் ஆப்களை அதிகமாகப் பயன்படுத்துவர்.

இந்த விஷயத்தில் வாடிக்கையாளர்கள் மிகவும் கவனமுடன் இருக்க வேண்டும். ஏனெனில் இதிலும் ஆன்லைன் மோசடிகள் வந்துவிட்டன. வாடிக்கையாளர்களுக்கு திடீரென்ற அறியாத மொபைல் நம்பரில் இருந்து SMS வரும். அதில் ஒரு லிங்க் இருக்கும். அந்த லிங்க்கை கிளிக் செய்து உள்ளே சென்றால் அதில் ஒரு ஸ்கிராட்ச் கார்டு இருக்கும். அதை ஸ்வைப் செய்தால் பணம் கிடைக்கும் என்று அந்த SMS செய்தியில் போடப்பட்டிருக்கும். அதை நீங்கள் சுரண்டினால் பணம் அனுப்பும் டேப் ஓப்பன் ஆகும். அதில் பணம் அனுப்பினால் யாருக்கோ சென்றுவிடும். உங்களுக்கு வராது.

இதுபோன்ற மோசடிகள் இப்போது அதிகமாக நடைபெறுகின்றன. இந்த விஷயத்தில் வாடிக்கையாளர்கள் மிகவும் எச்சரிக்கையுடன் இருக்கும்படி தமிழ்நாடு மெர்க்கண்டைல் பேங்க் எச்சரித்துள்ளது. இதுகுறித்து தனது வாடிக்கையாளர்களுக்கும் மின்னஞ்சல், குறுஞ்செய்தி மூலமாகவும் எச்சரிக்கை செய்துள்ளது..அதிகாரப்பூர்வமான மொபைல் ஆப்களை மட்டும் பார்த்து பயன்படுத்தும்படி இவ்வங்கி ஆலோசனை வழங்கியுள்ளது.
