தஞ்சை மாவட்டம் பேராவூரணி அடுத்த மல்லிப்பட்டினம் அருகில் உள்ள புதுப்பட்டினம் பகுதியில் அபு மெட்ரிக் மேல்நிலைப் பள்ளி இயங்கி வருகிறது. இப்பள்ளியில் கல்வி வளர்ச்சி நாள் விழா . டாக்டர் பட்டம் பெற்ற தாளாளர் எம்.துல் கருனை அவர்களுக்கு பாராட்டு விழா. ஏழை மாணவர் இலவச கல்வி உதவி திட்ட துவக்க விழா என முப்பெரும் விழா நடைப்பெற்றது.T.சாதிக் தலைமை வகித்தார். பள்ளி முதல்வர் சம்பத் குமாரி முன்னிலை வகித்தார். இந்நிகழ்வில் பேராசியர் எஸ்.பி. கண பதி சிறப்பு விருந்தினராக கலந்துக் கொண்டு சிறப்புரையாற்றினார். மற்றும் ஆசிரியர்கள் பிரபாகரன்.மூர்த்தி ஆகியோர் வாழ்த்தி பேசினார்கள். இதில் ஏராளமான முக்கியஸ்த்தர்கள் மற்றும் மாணவ மாணவிகள் கலந்துக் கொண்டனர்.
